New backroom team to be announced

Pako Ayesteran, who was Benitez's no.2 at Valencia as well as his fitness coach, and Paco Herrera, formerly manager of Merida and Albacete, have joined the Melwood staff. Jose Ochotorena will replace Joe Corrigan as goalkeeping coach.

The new backroom staff are expected to be officially announced in the next few days.
