No Champions League, no Mexes

The Auxerre defender wants to play in the Premiership next season but is not prepared to sign for Liverpool if they don't qualify for the Champions League.

"Philippe will not join Liverpool if they do not qualify for the Champions League next year," confirmed Mexes' agent Olivier Jouanneaux. "It is a key motivation for him to play in the European Cup."
