But the club president Angel Torres has denied any contact from the Reds.
"At the moment, Liverpool have not spoken to us to present any offer for Riki," he said.
"That is how things stand and we only know the news published in newspapers.
"If a good offer arrives then the club is obliged to study it, but our priority is not to damage the team."
