Adams, who offered his resignation in the aftermath of he recent La Manga controversy that blighted the club, firmly believes that it is Gerard Houllier's Champions League hopefuls who will be feeling the pressure at the Walkers Stadium.

Adams said: "We are already looking forward to it. There will be another full house, a team who have some quality individuals, but I think there is a lot of pressure on them to win the game because they are going for a Champions League spot.

"To do that, they have got to beat the likes of Leicester, so the onus is on them to win the game.

"Having said that, we go into it without any sort of fear factor. We believe we can give anybody a game at the moment and hope-fully we can do that on Sunday."
