No new faces for New Year's Day

The Premier League has announced that clubs will not be allowed to field players bought in the transfer window until 5th January.

Although they can be officially bought and sold from New Year's Day, the registration and administration process means Liverpool cannot field new signings in either the Chelsea game, or the Norwich fixture on 3rd January.
