No regrets for happy Harry

The mercurial forward, despite netting eleven times since his move from Leeds, has failed to produce his sparkling best form in a Liverpool shirt on a regular basis.

The Australian schemer's inconsistent form has been mirrored by that of his new club as the Reds struggle to claim Champions League football, but the 25-year-old insists that moving to Merseyside is still ' one of the best decisions I have ever made'.

Kewell said: "Okay, we've had a rough time but you can't always expect to have a smooth ride.

"Every team or player has a bad spell and it's those who come out of that who prove they're great teams or players.

"We've played a lot of silly games. I've been at fault, so have other players, but we know what we can do and we've got show it."

Frantic transfer speculation is to be expected at the end of a lacklustre campaign for Houllier's men, yet Kewell feels the current Anfield squad need not be revamped for a fresh assault on title glory.

Kewell added: "I don't think a lot of rebuilding of the team needs to be done this summer because we've got the players. We have a very talented group, that's why I came here.

"We haven't played well all season, but look at where we are. We've still a chance to finish in the Champions League. If we'd played to our potential we'd be right up there."
