No return for Kirkland

Kirkland is on a season long loan with the Baggies but his season is now over after he broke his finger in training. However, Liverpool have told the injury prone goalkeeper not to return to Melwood until his loan period with West Brom expires.

If Kirkland had returned Liverpool would have had to pick up his wage bill again but this way West Brom continue to pay his wages. The Reds' refusal to allow Kirkland to rejoin them suggests he will leave the club in the Summer.
