Javier Mascherano is guarenteed at least a silver medal as Argentina comfortably beat Brazil 3-0 in Beijing. Brazil finished the game with nine men as Lucas Levia and Tiago Neves were both shown straight red cards for fouls on Mascherano.

Lucas' foul on his fellow Red is good news for Liverpool. The Brazilian in now suspended for the bronze medal play-off game against Belgium and will return to Melwood early.

Argentina will play Nigeria in the final on Saturday, kick off 5am UK time.
