Despite holding the 10th position for several months they have now dropped two places to 12th.
Germany have swapped places with England despite Michael Owen's hat-trick and goals from Emile Heskey and Steven Gerrard in the 5-1 destruction on their soil.
France remain top, World Cup favourites Argentina are second while Brazil are in third position.
