Liverpool duo Michael Owen and Emile Heskey have been slammed by the media for not showing their appreciation to the travelling England fans after Sunday's 1-1 draw with Sweden.
Every player, except 'keeper David Seaman, has been accused of just walking off the pitch after the game without making any efforts to acknowledge the fans and this has also angered England coach Sven Goran Eriksson.
"I am going to talk about this with the players, yes," said Eriksson.
"I can understand the reaction of the players because they were disappointed with a draw after leading 1-0. But even if you lose, you should always thank your fans, because they have paid a lot of money to travel here and support us, which is fantastic."
