Liverpool striker Michael Owen looks set to pay top specialist Dr Hans Moller-Wohlfahrt a visit before the new season kicks gets underway.

Owen sustained a groin injury in England's 3-0 win against Denmark in the World Cup Finals and he was still suffering when he played against Brazil.

Gerard Houllier wants to send Owen to Germany when he returns from holiday so that he will be fit in time for the Charity Shield game against Arsenal and more importantly the new Premiership campaign.
