Owen denies Reds return

Michael Owen has been linked with a return to Anfield in recent weeks but the England striker has denied the speculation saying he is happy at the Bernabau.

"There's never been anything from me," said Owen on the rumours. "I've always said I am happy and I've had a good first year. I've been involved in virtually every game.

"There are people who are talking about my future, but it has not been me."
