Owen hails French starlets

The 23-year-old England international, who burst onto the Premiership scene as a fresh-faced seventeen-year-old, feels that both Le Tallec and Pongolle can handle the inevitably lofty expectations placed upon young player's of such undoubted ability.

Owen said: "I think they have both done very well and we are all impressed. They are both young and I think the manager envisaged them playing in the reserves all season, but if they keep playing the way they are then I think they will force their way into his plans. It's encouraging signs for them two."
