"They were definitely both my goals," he said. "I always own up when they're not my goals, but those two certainly were.
"Of course I didn't expect to score the second goal after I hit the shot so poorly and I thought the West Ham defender would clear it. But he seemed to be slipping as he chased after it and it was brilliant to see the ball go in.
"This was a big result for us and of course I'm happy to be scoring again. I had a poor start to the season by my standards.
"I feel much happier now and, whereas I was missing 99% of the chances early on, at the moment I'm scoring them. Hopefully it will continue."
