Owen injury not serious

Owen was replaced after 32 minutes of the match with Arsenal with a hamstring injury. The England forward has often suffered from a troublesome hamstring and it was initially feared he could face a long spell on the sidelines.

Reports, though, suggest Liverpool will only be without the influential player for the New Years Day clash at Newcastle.
