The 24-year-old Anfield marksmen has missed nine of his last 19 penalty kicks for Liverpool but Gerard Houllier insists that responsibility will continue to fall on the England man.

Houllier said: "I've got no problem with letting Michael take the penalties. It was a crucial penalty but before today he hadn't missed any this season."
