Liverpool striker Michael Owen is currently undergoing a scan to determine if he fractured his foot during last night's game in Germany.
The Reds are naturally hoping that the injury is just severe bruising because his loss would naturally be a huge blow to our Premiership challenge.
Confirming the news, Gerard Houllier said: "We hope it is not a fracture but he will have a scan later today and we will have a better idea then."
