Owen set to sign new deal

Owen's current contract is up at the end of the season but St Michael currently in talks with the club about signing a new contract and Rafa Benitez believes his number 10 will stay.

"I feel that Michael is happy with the team and is enjoying how we are training," said the manager.

"I am sure that in a short time he will decide to sign and then everybody will be happy."
