Negotiations have been ongoing since May, although everything has been on hold since the Euro 2004 finals in Portugal.
There is very little doubt that Owen sign a new deal, although the discussions are expected to focus on whether he agrees a one or two-year offer.
Parry wants him to sign until at least 2007, and that is the most likely outcome.
