"Of course I didn't expect to score the second after I hit the shot so poorly.
"I thought the West Ham defender would clear it. But he seemed to be slipping as he chased after it and it was brilliant to see the ball go in.
"This was a big result for us and of course I'm happy to be scoring again.
"I had a poor start to the season by my standards but I feel much happier now. I was missing 99 per cent of the chances early on but at the moment I'm scoring them. Hopefully it will continue."
