Parry backs Moores

Moores was criticised from certain sectors when several seemingly strong offers from lifelong fan Steve Morgan were rejected.

But Parry said that whilst various bids had been looked at, he knew that Moores was determined to wait for the best possible offer, and had the best interests of the club at heart.

He added: "It is a frustration that we have not come up with the investment, but life is not like that. We have got through this season tolerably - we've invested £43 million in the team, so we've not tightened the purse strings too much.

He added: "He (Moores) will do whatever it takes to move it forward, even if it affects his own interests. He cares more about this club than about himself."
