Parry called as witness

Sheffield United are arguing West Ham should have had points deducted over the signings of Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano and gone down in their place.

Liverpool Chief Executive Rick Parry was called as a witness by the Blades because he was the first Chief Executive of the Premier League in 1993 and United wanted to question him over the establishment of certain League rules.
Parry's appearance had nothing to do with Liverpool signing Mascherano in January.
