Speaking in reaction to today's Champions League quarter-final draw, Liverpool's chief executive Rick Parry admitted that he was glad the Reds were not paired with Manchester United at this stage of the competition but at the same time insisted that the club feared nobody.

"I think we're quite happy with the draw," said Parry. "I'm glad that we were not drawn with Manchester United at this stage as we'd prefer to see them later in the competition."

Would Gerard Houllier be back in full control when the Reds take on Leverkusen?

"I think that's a fair bet," added the Liverpool chief.
