"It has been tremendous," he told the club's official site. "It has brought back memories of when we were last here two years ago and we've actually seen many of the same faces as well.

"It would be wrong to say our reception has amazed me this time because we experienced it two years ago when we all felt it was absolutely extraordinary.
 
"This is a reminder of the last trip though, without a doubt. This club is clearly held in such esteem out here and it makes you realise what a responsibility you have."
