Parry reveals spending plan

"It depends what we finally decide we want to do," he told the club's official website. "Some of the players we are looking at could be relatively expensive.

"A lot will depend on where we finish in the league and whether we make the Champions League or not.

"Some players will come to the end of their contracts and go. We will undoubtedly bring one or two in, but I don't see it as being wholesale changes."

But Parry was not prepared to reveal whether or not a winger was on Gerard Houllier's shopping list.

"We'll have to see," he added.
