It is thought at least two more players will join the squad at L4, and Parry is adamant that the signing spree has not finished just yet.
"We thought we were in with a shout for Figo, but the longer it goes on the more cynical you become. Towards the end, Rafa probably started to have doubts as to whether Figo's interest in joining us was real or not," he said.
And Parry questioned Figo's desire to join the Reds, adding, "There is no question about Figo's ability. He has proved himself world class, but from our side we only want individuals at Anfield with a desire to pull on that red shirt."
But Reds fans will be excited by Parry's comments regarding future signings.
He added, "We are still working 24 hours a day on other things. We are not finished yet."
