Parry's relief at draw

Although Bayer Leverkusen will be no pushover, the draw could have been much worse for Liverpool with AC Milan, Juventus, Inter and runaway French leaders Lyon all in the draw.

Parry said: "It could have been worse so we're happy enough.

"It's still not an easy tie though - they are recent finalists.

"We just hope to do better than last time (when Liverpool went out of the Champions League in 2002)."
