Partridge in demand

After failing to lure Jermaine Pennant from Arsenal, Forest boss Joe Kinnear has turned to the Liverpool player.

However, Partridge's agent Neil Sang believes West Ham would be an ideal move.

"Rotherham are a progressive club under a good manager but Richie has nothing to prove at that level after doing so well at Coventry two seasons ago," Sang said.

"I've also heard a whisper Nottingham Forest are interested but it would be obviously up to the player to mull things over before making a decision.

"I would expect Liverpool will be fine with whatever Richie decides but perhaps a team like West Ham might be better for Richie, simply because of Rotherham's current plight."
