With twelve games for Gary McAllister's side under his belt since his arrival at the end of September, Partridge has settled in well at Highfield Road.

"Gary McAllister has been brillaint with me since I came here," admitted the young winger.

"He's doing a great job here but I don't think anyone doubted he'd be a fantastic manager."

"Considering it's his first season in the job we're doing really well, although we have had one or two bad results recently.

"It's been a great feeling playing week in week out. My fitness level is improving all the time and you really notice the difference when you step up a level.

"I've not spoken to Gerard Houllier myself since I came here, but Hugh McAuley, the reserve coach, is in touch regularly and he's come to watch my games a few times. It's good to know they are still thinking about me.

When asked about his future when his loan period expires at the end of the season, Partridge still has ambitions to play for Liverpool.

"We'll see what happens. I hope it will be a stepping stone to get into the Liverpool first team.

"That's my dream and I'm not giving up on that yet. You never know what's going to hjappen in football and if I leave there would be no better place to go than Coventry.

"But I haven't given up on Liverpool yet. I'm still a Liverpool player," he added.
