Liverpool winger Richie Partridge played a blinder for Coventry City who crushed Rushden & Diamonds 8-0 in the League Cup this evening.
The on-loan Irishman didn't score but he came very close. He did however cause the opposition many problems and one of his crosses forced a Rushden defender to handle the ball earning Coventry a penalty.
The official Coventry City website said Richie '...performed exceedingly well and seemed to bring out the very best in his more experienced colleagues...'
