"Arsenal had a great result here and hopefully we can repeat that kind of performance as well," said Pennant.
"Whether we win or draw, the key will be to score an away goal and not to concede. That will be our main target.
"It's a very important game for us and a chance to qualify for the quarter-finals of the Champions League. We know we've got a tough task ahead of us because they are a quality team and they have home advantage.
"But the mood is very positive in our squad. We've had three convincing wins at Anfield so everyone is looking sharp and looking forward to the match."
