Pennant glad to assist

Pennant delivered more crosses into the penalty area than any other player in the Premiership last season according to the opta stats, and Liverpool's new winger says he will be just as happy setting up goals as he will be scoring them for his new side.

"Setting up and scoring a goal is the same to me. Setting up a team-mate is just as good to me as scoring. I don't mind not scoring goals as long as I'm getting a lot of assists. It's always nice to score but if I can get as many assists as possible, then scoring goals will be a bonus," said the former Birmingham City midfielder.
