Pennant to face fitness test

Pennant was stretchered off against PSV Eindhoven in midweek but the injury was not as bad as first feared and the winger could face Man City this afternoon if he passes a late fitness test.

Mark Gonzalez and Xabi Alonso who were also injured against PSV have definitely been ruled out for the next couple of games.
