The Reds made it two away wins out of two when they beat Sunderland 2-0 yesterday. The performance left Rafa Benitez happy.

"The team was very good and we showed we have a better squad this season. It was special for Momo to score our 7,000th goal and he's now in the record books," said the Liverpool boss.

"I thought Torres, Voronin, Pennant and Babel caused the Sunderland defence a lot of problems. We created a lot of chances and we could have finished off the game a lot earlier.

"It's not good as a manager for my heart seeing us miss chances, but Voronin scored a good goal to get us the win."
