Emmanuel Petit insists he's happy at Chelsea and he wants to stay at the club despite rumours that he is looking for a move away from London in the summer.
Kop Talk sources indicated several months ago that Petit could be a surprise summer purchase after Gerard Houllier allegedly made 'gentle enquiries' regarding the player's desires.
"I have never said that I wasn't happy at Chelsea," claimed Petit after his side booked a place in the FA Cup final following their semi-final victory over Fulham yesterday.
"The first six months here were difficult for me but since I've recovered from my injury, I've been very happy and everyone can see that out on the pitch.
"We are in the FA Cup final and are close to qualifying for the Champions League so it's not a bad season at all. But I think we can do even better next season if we can bring in three or four more players."
