And Derby manager Phil Brown is confident that Galley's vast experiences can rub off onto his team, and aid their push for Premiership football.
He said, "He brings with him a fantastic level of experience, having been at Liverpool. I have spoken about trying to instil Premier League mentality at the club. Dave has that and a Champions' League mentality."
