Around 1000 FA Cup tickets were stolen from a Royal Mail van outside the Everton megastore in Walton Lane last week. However, police obtained two warrants for addresses in Anfield and found a postal uniform, a CS gas cannister and a machete.
The theft has left plenty of Liverpool fans disappointed after the Millenium Stadium controversially decided not to issue duplicate tickets.
