Sinama-Pongolle said: "It was nice to score in my first start in the Champions League. It was a good opportunity for me and I was pleased. It was my first start for a while after my injury and it was nice to score and get the win.
"The manager asked me to play on the right and I am happy to do that for the team. It's not my best position but if the manager wants me to do a job there then I will do it. I like to take on defenders and score some goals and if that means me playing down the right side then that is fine.
"I just want to stay involved with the squad and stay free of injury now and play well for the team."
