Pongo is on the table

The Reds striker suffered a painful cruciate knee ligament injury as his team made their way through to the Carling Cup final against Watford on Tuesday.

It is thought that doctors will be able to make firmer conclusions about the extent of the injury, and the probably lay off time, once the surgery is complete.
