Pongo leaves on loan

Pongolle has joined the Spanish side on loan for the rest of the season after falling behind in the pecking order at Anfield. Pongolle might be joined at Recreativo by fellow Red Salif Diao after the Spanish club declared an interest in the Senegal midfielder. However, Diao is keen to remain in the Premiership.
