"I can learn so much here from people like Michael Owen. I'm surrounded by world-class players and everything I pick up will add to my game," said Pongolle.
"There is huge competition for places and I don't expect to be playing every week, but when I get the chance it is incredible to be part of the side, to play with these players. When I'm needed I'll do a job."
