Pongolle set to leave

Kuyt will sign for Liverpool later today and his arrival will hasten the departure of Sinama-Pongolle. The French under 21's international will be pushed further down the pecking order by Kuyt's arrival and is expected to leave in search of first team football.
Gerard Houllier, who brought Pongolle to Anfield, and is now manager of French champions Lyon is expected to put a bid in for the striker. Pongolle is rated at around £2m.
Pongolle's fellow Frenchman Anthony Le Tallec has also been told he can leave, although the Reds are not expecting to get a fee for him.
