Agger helped Liverpool to their first clean sheet of the season last night and earned the praise of Rafa Benitez who admitted the Dane has given him a selection problem ahead of Sunday's visit to Stamford Bridge.
"Daniel had a good game. He was ahead of Sami tonight and maybe he will be ahead of him again in the future," said the Liverpool boss.
"The team worked really, really hard in defence. You could see Momo, Zenden, Pennant and Aurelio supporting the defenders. It was the idea to get another clean sheet and go forward.
"We have one more point but I think we created enough chances to win and the last one was most clear, it was a great effort from Steven.
"In the Champions League you never know what the toughest game will be, but we know the experience and quality of PSV and to get a point here was a good result because if we win our homes games we are in a very good position."
