Praise for Babel

Babel scored and gave a man of the match performance as Liverpool ran out 3-1 winners against Bolton Wanderers at the Reebok Stadium yesterday. After the game Rafa Benitez praised the forward.

"I think it was a good game for him," said the Reds boss.

"He had plenty of space and he could get in behind defenders, he could go into one-on-one situations. They had to keep an eye on Torres and Gerrard and it gave Babel more freedom."
