"I knew what the player was like, but it's always different when you see the player every day. He is working really well, doing everything with a high tempo," said the Liverpool manager.
"Sometimes you need to say to him 'hey, try to control your energy. We have a long way to go'.
"But I am really pleased to see him training because he has ability, pace and passion.
"He is a player who has said before he is a Liverpool fan and you can see that he wants to play well, not for me or to impress me, but because he likes to do this."
