Praise for Garcia

Garcia is the Reds' top scorer in the Champions League and Rafa Benitez has tipped him to play a big part in this season's campaign.

"Luis is a player who can change games, do different things, find a clever pass. He's capable of the best and sometimes the worst. He's scored a lot of very good goals in Europe and is a special player. He's a good option for us to have," said the Liverpool manager.

"Luis is a player who can produce the best, but also give the ball away too easily. But if you remember the goals that he's scored - they're fantastic and very important. And he always scores 10 to 15 goals each year.

"I look at the positive things from him rather than the negative. At the end of the day, if the player is working really hard, that is all that matters. He can do the simple things and then the amazing things. I have said to him to try and do his special things nearer the other team's penalty area and not ours.

"He is learning and is doing the simple things in our half of the pitch and the more difficult things in the other team's half."
