"We know what Luis is capable of. The way he plays means he will have some good moments and some bad ones but the goal he scored here was important for us and came at a good time just before half time," said Rafa Benitez.
"It's always an important time to score because if we had gone in level then Tottenham may have had an advantage in the second half.
"Luis is a player with a lot of quality who can change games and he did it for us again. I think we deserved the win because we were in control for parts of the game and defended really well when we had to."
