Hobbs had a poor game against Kaiserslauten on Saturday and was at fault for the Germans' goals. However, he didn't let Saturday's errors play on his mind as he gave an impressive performance at the back yesterday, earning the praise of his manager.
"I spoke with Jack and told him to cut out the mistakes and he listened well and I thought he did well in this match," said Benitez.
"Jack is a young player with potential and he will continue to work hard and learn."
