Praise for Kewell

Kewell scored the only goal of the game as Liverpool beat Spurs 1-0 to move within a point of second placed Manchester United yesterday. It was the Australian international's first goal in over a year and Rafa Benitez says it was just reward for Kewell's efforts in returning from injury.

"If you want to win a game 1-0 then that is the kind of goal you want to score. For Harry it was important to score in front of the Kop after his problems last season and it was the perfect finish. He deserved it and it was amazing to see Harry score the goal he is capable of at the Kop," said the Reds manager.

"Harry is training well every day and repeating games. He hasn't had pain and he is playing at the level we saw before he had the problems."
