Sissoko's performances this season have earned the praise of Jamie Carragher who says the Mali international is in contention for Liverpool's Player of the Year award.
"Sissoko has been one of the top performers this season, not just for Liverpool but right across the country, and he is only 21," said Carragher.
He added: "To come back from the accident he had in Lisbon has been impressive, and to come straight back into big matches like the derby says it all, he has been tremendous for us all season."
